Skipper Returns

It seems ages since we had a first team game at Goldington Road  but the encounter with Scottish could well be worth the wait.

Both clubs have been doing well of late. Scottish are in third place but some 14 points behind. The play-offs are definitely achieveable for them.

We've moved up to 6th thanks to improved form at the end of the year. It would have been even better if we'd won the "8 pointer" with Roth but you can't have everything.

As a result we will have to hit a real purple patch if we are to make it into the play-offs.

Beating Scottish would be a good start.  We came away with two points after an epic first encounter,  and have a strong squad out including the return  of club skipper Nick F-W who will have to be content with a start on the bench.

Mike Le Bourgeois and Jake Sharp return in the backs with Tom Williams,Jamies Currie and  Charlie Clare and James Currie starting in the front row and Ben Gulliver in the second row.

Blues: 15. James Pritchard (c) 14. Pat Tapley 13. Mike Le Bourgeois 12. Viliami Hakalo 11. Dean Adamson 10. Jake Sharp 9. Pete White 1. Tom Williams 2. Charlie Clare 3. James Currie 4. Harry Wells 5. Ben Gulliver 6. Paul Tupai 7. Justin Blanchet 8. Joe Vandermolen

Reps: 16. TJ Harris 17. Camilo Parilli-Ocampo 18. Phil Boulton 19. Mike Howard 20. Nick Fenton-Wells 21. Darryl Veenendaal 22. Steffan Jones
