Mike Rayer has conceded that a top four place is now out of our reach after this 17-3 defeat in the Channel islands.

We only had a James Pritchard penalty to show for our considerable efforts as the home side payed the conditrions better and extended their unbeaten run to four games.

He scorede for st but Drew Locke went over for a try just before the break.After the restart lock Pierce Phillis crashed over the line soon after the restart and that was just about it apart from  an Aaron Penberthy penalty.
