In A Good Place

Eight games played, in fourth position with a  fortnight's rest and recuperation to come. We'd have settled for that before the start of the season.

Once this Wolrd Cup carry-on is over we face a tough task with the arrival of second top Yorkshire Carnegie and a victory would really ignite our season.

Another bonus is that the game is on a Saturday with a 3.00 kick off.

However, there aren't any easy games in this league as we discovered in the narrow win at Ealing last time out. They may  be bottom but they are not a bad outfit.

Thank goodness for Steffan Jones' trusty boot which secured the late 23-21 win.

The Carnegie game is a must win for us really, but we're the only unbeaten home team and hopefully we can continue this record.

Definitely a match where we want to go down the slope in the 2nd half. Hopefully we can contain the huge Leeds pack enough so our backs can tire them out.
