Blues to Bounce Back

Gloucester loanee lock Joe Latta comes straight into the side which looks to get the Blues back on track at Rotherham's Clifton Lane ...

Last week's 25-18 defeat at home to Jersey was a bit of a reality check after a superb start to 2016.

The Titans game will be equally hard, and we will have to go into it without Nick Fenton-Wells with Paul Tupai taking over the leadership.

The hosts have the benefit of a new coach in the shape of Martin Hynes so lets hope they fail to impress him.

Blues: 15. Steffan Jones 14. Pat Tapley 13. Michael Le Bourgeois 12. Ollie Dodge 11. Dean Adamson 10. Jake Sharp 9. Jordan Burns 1. Alex Lundberg 2. Sam James 3. Phil Boulton 4. Joe Latta 5. Harry Wells 6. Paul Tupai (capt) 7. Josh Buggea 8. Joel Conlon

Reps: 16. Charlie Clare 17. Camilo Parilli-Ocampo 18. Mike Howard 19. Justin Blanchet 20. Peter White 21. Myles Dorrian 22. Henry Staff.

Oh come on. The hosts new coach is Justin Burnell, not Martin Hynes!

To be fair, it only says that the new coach at Rotherham is the same shape as Hynsey.

Roth wanted it more than we did and it showed. Poor defence letting in some soft tries. NFW conspicuous by his absence. Still despite bad day there was a try bonus point and Jersey lost. Cmon LS at Notts today. Ealing will be no push overs, top 4 not certain by a long chalk.

Surprised by the lack of comment. Rotherham were really up for the game and were very aggressive. No problem with that but Blues made too many mistakes. Couple of the guys were not at their best. I'm a big fan of Jake Sharp but I must comment that Myles certainly got the line moving when he came into the game. Horses for courses maybe?
