Massive game this weekend with the visit of fellow basement boys Richmond. Anything other than a win is unthinkable if we want to start climbing the Championship table.
Admittedly we have been playing some pretty decent sides, and getting better every week, so we have to be confident that second bottom is not the place we should be.
We gave Knights a hard game on their pitch, and were only one point away from adding a losing bonus to our point for scoring four tries.
The lead constantly changed in an absorbing game with Jake Sharp, Jason Hill, Tom Farrell and Jacob Field crossing to get us that point, and a few more successful kicks could have painted a different picture.
Knights clinched it in the closing stages with Ben Adams off for a yellow when were desperately defending a six point lead. Makaafi barged over and the conversion put us one point behind with Knights then using their advantage to send Jarvis over in the corner.
Flockhart's touchline conversion denied us that second bonus point - one which we would have richly deserved.

Lack leadership in a young side. Still believe our front row needs some experience.
I see all of our DR's were in action for Sarries Storm again this week with the exception of HTS who started for us (Obviously not deemed up to the standard of playing front row for the 2nd's). Couple of other players who would make very useful additions to the side.
Any news on when Joel Conlon and Piers O'Connor will be back fit?

Doesn't seem to be working this DR thing with the Saracens Storm having fixtures too. Yep no old heads and poor leadership, doesn't make for a good season really does it. Then again it may all come good and we finish in the top 4.
I'd also rather have the DRs available some of the time than none of the time. We've been unlucky several have got injured and then Ashton's suspension won't help!
Richmond are finding life difficult at this level but they have put in a couple of performances that have taken their opponents aback. There is little doubt that they will look at Bedford as a scalp they can take and we should not underestimate them in the way we did Pirates.
Whilst we may think this is a five pointer, with the season so far I'll take the win.
