Unfortunately, Castle Park in Doncaster will continue to be deserted this New Year as the Blues have been forced to cry off the game against the league leaders scheduled for New Year's Day.

The Blues have front row injury issues on top of some covid cases and the official site says:

"The decision – taken in conjunction with Doncaster Knights and the Rugby Football Union – follows the detailed medical protocols in place to ensure that the health and wellbeing of all players and support staff is protected."

Shame as I was looking forward to my first trip on the followers coach.

I see on the Knights website that any tickets already purchased can be carried forward to the rearranged fixture.

I wish all those at the Blues who are injured and have tested positive with Covid a swift recovery.

I hope this not the start of an interrupted league fixture list, but its good to have crowds back at championships ground again.
