What a way to start a new year at Goldington Road. Our neighbours from Ampthill provide the opposition as we look to start 2020 in the winning way we finished that awful 2021.

We make seven changes as the long lay-off has produced selection headaches for Mike Rayer and co.  - headaches of the right kind.

Karl Garside makes his fist start in the front row where Danny Hobbs-Awoyemi returns from injury. All change in the back row with  JJ Tonks back for the first time this season and he will start alongside Ollie Newman and Oli Stedman.

In the backs Conor Tupia and Louis Grimoldby come in.

We start 2022 in 5th place with Ampthill two places and four points behind - although they have played two more games than the Blues.

It looks a good team to me with every chance of a high scoring game, so long as we can control our discipline we will come out on top on this one.

The forecast of an attendance of 4500 I think is optimistic, so bring yourself and be safe and bring your mask.

No excuses, that was an utter shambles and in front of a big crowd. Looking forward to seeing MRAD down the Sun to explain that one.

We were the poorer of two poor teams on what must have been the poorest game at Goldington Road for many years, any supporter care to disagree from either side?
