Another big scoring game against Pirates and this time it was Blues who emerged triumphant - 41-21 at The Mennaye.

A tremendous second half clinched it for the Blues . They went in at the break trailing 14-6  but scored very early in the second half with Alex Day going in under the posts.

Robin Wedlake did cfoss for the Pirates but with 20 minutes left Bedford upped their game. Twio tries in as many minutes swinging it for  them.

Joey Conway was first up - scores level- and a line-out steal saw Jacob Fields go over.

The Pirates weren't prepared to surrender. However, they were kept out and a tap and go saw Day cross for his second followed by two more penalties from Maisey to complete a rare victory on Cornish soil.

The season is getting interesting.
