Blues Outmuscled

Blues were taught a bit of a lesson on their first every visit to Caldy. The home side's powerful pack denying the visitor's the opportunity to impose their usual running game.  

The Championship new boys took the game 36-28. They mauled their way to a 21-14 lead with Sean French and Matt Worley scoring for Blues - the latter a superb individual effort.

Blues actually went ahead in the second half after Joey Conway won line-out ball and French again broke away to score followed by a try from Curran to take the score to 21-28.

However,the home side were not prepared to give in and fight back with twolate tries.Blues returned with just one point but are still in fourth place.
