Blues moved up to third with a satisfying  and long awaited 39-5 defeat of Richmond under the Goldington Road lights. It was another highly entertaining performance which kept the home record intact. 

The task now is to keep Fortress Goldington intact with some fascinatimg encounters to come in April. We will host Trailfinders, Jersey and Coventry - the other three sides in the top four. Who would have that that last September?

In the meantime we can savour the run of form which has earned six wins out of seven.

The latest was never in doubt after Sean French crossed just minutes after the kick off with Luke Frost and Joel Matevsi also crossing before the break with Blues having a 24-0 advantage.

Mond got their try shortly after the restart,  but any thoughts of a revival were dashed as Blues showed they could also defend when needed.

Tui Uru then put  furrher distance between the sides to get the bonus point with Jack Hughes finisghing things off.
