The Amateurs travelled to Cheshunt in their second game of the season, looking for their first win. Early on it was a stroll for Cheshunt, a penalty being scored within two minutes and then quickly followed by a converted try. Quins then started playing some rugby, ledby some hard work from the front row. The away side took scrum after scrum offCheshunt, removing all their possession. Greg Cain made a strong break throughmidfield to give Quins a first try in the corner, before a second half try fromNick Marren allowed Quins to take the lead. Rick Braithwaite kicked faultlesslytaking 13 points and giving the Amateurs a well deserved first win of theseason.
