As you say, it put a little smile back on our faces. Personally it was pleasing to see Nowell and Slade play finally and indeed play well. I think Slade and Joseph made a good partnership.
I like Danny Care at scrum half, he's energetic and very busy.
Putting it I to perspective, it was Uruguay but you still need to beat what's in front of you.
I think in the right hands, with the right management, there is a very decent team looking to get out. Some promising youngsters. I think the RFU need to think long and hard about where to go.
If it was me, I would use the six nations to play some of these young guys and accept we are not gonna win it. We need to build for the future, 2019 World Cup being the summit. English Rugby needs a damn good kick up the backside.
Now, onto the Premiership season....thankfully

This game was as relevant to the RWC as Georgia vs Namibia was.
