First, many thanks for putting this together to get the board up and running again!
You've captured all the ponderables and imponderables of supporting irish that we have to endure before the occasional euphoria of a well earned, or more likely nicked win. Here we go again. It'll be a bumpy ride!

Thanks for doing this / I see Sinoti Sinoti has left Newcastle days before the start of the season

Hands up I’m a SOB fan and not naysayer but interesting that he’s not part of the leadership group.

Just hope we hit this from the off

Thanks Alec - Griff if you need more articles then please PM me as I'd be happy to contribute to future ones.

On SOB - he was on the Rugby Pod this week and was actually pretty modest and decent - says he's looking forward to Worcester and had a hamstring issue during end of last season which was minor.

We always need articles, it's actually more tricky now that SN don't enforce the 2 week limit (it's actually difficult to know what the current time is - the last story we published before this one was early September), because it's an unknown time I don't know when the shoe will drop. If I've got a backlog of stuff, though, I can simply publish one immediately and get us back online.

If anyone has ideas for stories then do please email the copy to editors@londonirish.org and I'll keep them in the bank unless they're topical (or you request immediate publishing).

Intelligent and informative piece Alec, many thanks.

As someone once said "it's good to be back, good to be back..."!

Nice one Alec. Newcastle did actually manage to play back-to-back pre-season games against Ealing Trailfinders.

Thanks Alec: almost exacvtly sums up my own feelings at the moment....Hopefully we'll all feel more motivated once the season actully starts and - hopefully - isn't interupted ... I also wonder who might be in the frame as our next CEO?

The Daily Telegraph's preview for the 2020/2021 season has Irish finishing in 9th, relying on the "veterans", but also excited by the young group of players coming through.
A season of consolidation is the summary.

Fingers crossed for a good start against Warriors and Tigers. Excellent time to play them due to the Nations Cup. No Lawrence for Worcester is a huge loss for them and Leicester also short of a few internationals. If we can put out our first choice 23, it could be the makings of a decent season.
