Changes in the Pirates see returns to the side for wing Harry Yates, lock Matt Cannon, and number 8 Tomi Agbongbon, who will be making his 50^th appearance for the club.

Back from injury, scrum half Dan Hiscocks is named in the ‘9’ shirt and fit again lock Charlie ‘Buster’ Rice is included on the bench, as is experienced prop Ehren Painter who is on loan from Exeter Chiefs.

Hopefully the boys can reproduce the level of performance seen against Chinnor to get the win and keep our season alive going into the last weekend.

It'll take a big performance to overcome and in-form Coventry team, but as P15 says, if we play as we did against Chinnor we can do this!

Pirates 29 Coventry 24
A battling Pirates performance got the win they needed to set up a winner takes all match at Hartpury next Saturday for the final play-off place.
Despite not being at their absolute best the pirates just did enough to beat a 3rd place Coventry side as the curtain came down on another season at the mennaye.
Huge congratulations to the owners, coaches, players and backroom staff who have all worked so hard to ensure we are still watching championship rugby.

Great, battling win against a very good Coventry team. Another tough ask next week away at Hartpury, but we're still in with a chance of top six.

A great result against a team who have played good rugby during the season. Next week will be as tough for the the team to come away with a victory. All been well I should be in attendance as I can get home before darkness comes in.
