England at last started well and then went to sleep towards the end of the first half .  What is the matter with these guys?? Can they not concentrate for 80mins!

England 25 v 13 Scotland

Fan's Post Match Thoughts

Anyway, thankfully we won!  The Scots were really good for their money on the day and had England worried for a short while.   It is very hard being an England supporter, I hesitate to say this but we are becoming a outfit of slow starters and almost as bad as the French, you are not sure what to expect on the day.

Well this England fan wants to see, 80 mins of effort from everyone and no switching off the brains please!  Having said that this man was very good on the day George Ford.

Englands George Ford dives in to score a try - Pictures paimages

England need to be much smarter in Rugby World Cup year, we are definitely riding our luck at the moment.  We are top of the table but only on points and Wales have a good chance of nicking the Six Nations Championship - (Come on the Scots is all I say at the moment - they will definitely not want to be bottom of the table)- The Scots are too good to be bottom of the table to be honest.

England's Geoff Parling claims the ball from a line out

Well Cips., got on for 3mins, he would have loads to write home about on that performance.   Although we have to keep the faith in Lancaster, it does make you wonder what goes on in his mind espc., on substitutions.

England need to put away their chances otherwise they might as well kiss goodbye to any chances of really competing at the RWC later this year.  Simple as that and if players continually keep giving penalties away they should be ditched err are you listening Mr. Cole?  He was lucky to stay on the field, I actually think that was a professional foul.

Mike Brown was my Man of the Match.

England's Mike Brown is held up on the line by Scotlands Stuart Hogg (right)

Anyway we won.  Do I feel heartened not really, I hope France don't turn up on Saturday because if they do phew..............  not sure what will happen!
