April 2004 - In Review!

April 1st.....   Well our April Fool article caught one or two but as most English Rugby Fans are quite shrewd they saw through this naughty piece by our very own Barney Burnham - Big thank you to Barney once again!

   England 7s - Well what can one say, a very lack lustre performance out in Singapore by the guys - knocked out in the Semi Final of the Plate England-Singapore 7s - results here!.    We have to hope that the next round in Bordeaux France will produce much better performances, if England want to take the overall championship  - The next round of the tournament playing schedules etc., here  IRB 7s France Fixtures

Exclusive Interview!  

England & Falcons Centre Jamie Noon took time out of his busy schedule  to talk to us at Unofficial England Rugby. 

Jamie worked his way up through the Newcastle Falcons Academy, made his mark in the England Sevens team, England A and was unlucky not to be included in the 30 man Rugby World Cup Squad. An outstanding talented Centre and a super guy. Jamie took time out of  his busy schedule to talk to Unofficial England Rugby about the importance of winning the Powergen Cup for the Falcons, England training and his hopes for the coming few months.  England and Falcon -Jamie Noon Interview
