The Pirates side shows several changes from the one that beat Cambridge 52-0 Two weeks ago.
There are returns for wing Arthur Relton, prop Alfie Petch, and flanker Jack Forsythe, whilst Max Norey - on loan from Exeter Chiefs and with 19 appearances for the Pirates in the past - is selected at hooker.
Backrower Rory Suttor and centre Chester Ribbons are recovered from injury and take places on the bench.

Richmond not to be taken lightly, but we should do this if we play anything like we did against Cambridge.

Fingers crossed that after a week off and a few players returning from injury the boys can hit the ground running and continue our recent good form and get a bonus point win.

What a grueler and a good result. Pity Richmond come away with nothing as there performance was good for an amateur team. Good turnout 1722.

Pirates 28 Richmond 19
The pirates raced into an early lead scoring 2 converted tries within 7 minutes as they dominated the opening quarter.
Credit to Richmond who regrouped and scored to reduce the pirates lead to 7 points.
Both teams scored further tries as the pirates lead 21-12 at the break.
Richmond dominated for long periods of the 2nd half and scored under the posts after pirates players missed a couple of tackles.
Richmond then missed a very kickable penalty as the pirates were reduced to 14 men.
The pirates resolute defence then held up the visitors over the line as Richmond pressed for the score to give them the lead.
The pirates weathered the storm and as they eventually got some possession in the Richmond half they broke through for a converted try to secure a bonus point win.
Richmond played very well after a disastrous start and deserved to get something from the game.

Great defensive shift from Pirates, and solid goal kicking from Sinclair were the difference against a very good Richmond team. 5 points in the bag, well played boys.
