Time for a BBQ and to renew your membership of the 200 club.
PLYMOUTH ALBION RFC 200 CLUB MEMBERSHIP 2008/2009 SEASON
SOCIAL GATHERING SUNDAY 10 AUGUST 2008 – BBQ
Many thanks for your continued support to the Albion 200 Club for last season, the monies donated to the club is very much appreciated.
For those who have not been fortunate to have won a monthly draw prize, my sympathies!! However there are still a few months left before this years membership expires, hope you “Get lucky”.
It is my intention once again to have a Members Social event at which we will present the Club with a cheque from the 200 Club as a contribution to enhance the ever improving facilities at the Brickfields.
This years’ “Gathering “will be an afternoon BBQ, in or around the Cowlin Marquee, depending on the weather!! On Sunday 10 August, bar opens at 12-00 & the BBQ will be served at approximately 1-30PM.
The cost per ticket is £10 for adults & £5 for children under 12. The function will be open to all members & supporters - children are welcome; however the numbers will be limited to 200.
The aim of the “Gathering” is three fold, to present the Club with a cheque for monies raised by the 200 Club Members, to hopefully recruit new members for next season & last but not least to have a good social thrash to kick off the season!!
Now the “Punch Line” attached please find the RENEWAL/JOINING PROFORMA for the 2008/2009 season. Should you wish to renew your membership, it would be appreciated if you could kindly complete the proforma & return it to the address given, with your subscription by Friday 8 August 2008. If you have a friend/s or relative who would like to join the 200 Club or just attend the social “Gatherings” let me have their details & they will be added to the mailing list.
Also included is an attendance Proforma for the function, should you require tickets kindly complete the proforma & send payment by cheque or Visa to the address given.
PLEASE NOTE: ENTRANCE IS BY PRE PURCHASED TICKETS ONLY.
Once again, your continued support to the club is very much appreciated.
Vince Jones
If you want to sit on an alllbion website table please let Vince know when you book.
Read the large red print above ianbol with a link to Vince and state if you want to be associated with the other alllbion folks and add your name to their tables.
Hi Stonehouse, I've just read your post, can't find his no. anywhere but worth just turning up I get the feeling there were some seats left over, if not we can fit you in I'm sure.
I'll buy you a filofax for your birthday for future events, good luck.
Also, big it up for BP who kept one of the alllbion tables in wine for the duration - good work, fella!
And finally - a plug for the 200 Club. It's a quid a week for the whole year. A prize draw (we dished out £450 odd in prizes today) with the chance of landing a wad of cash for your next home game beer fund that is way ahead of the Lotto. And all the rest goes to the club for ground improvements (£3 000 got handed over this afternoon!)
PS. Noibla is officially an old fart - VJ presented him with an RFU tie for his work on the North Stoop. Extra good work, fella!
Thanks for the plug stonehouse, you beat me to it.
I would like to say a big thank you firstly on my behalf and I guess on behalf of the club and also our web site to all those who have been able to spend some time in helping on the "cheap seats" as they are affectionately known, in order to bring them up to scratch for the coming season.
Dont know if I have mentioned it on another thread but the club are very pleased with our work as has been said by the chairman and also Jan Colam when they came down to the stand during the last week whilst we were there and I was singled out today at the 200 club B.B.Q. by Terry, I think he was behind it, and presented with an R.F.U. tie in recognition for all that the unofficial web site have done in assisting the club in this project, we have had some sixteen different helpers working on the terrace which is a great response, and I was proud to accept this tie on what I regard as your behalf, it's far bigger of course than a single persons input, so again thank you.
