Albion are away again for the second instalment of this seasons campaign. The Fixture will be the first leg in a Devon/Cornwall derby as they take on newly promoted Camborne at the Recreation Ground.
Camborne had a great result on the road against Leeds Tykes where they held on to a 36-38 win with a penalty 6 minutes from the end of the game.
Albion meanwhile had a great result against an 'on paper' strong Park side, placing them at the top of the nascent table. A job no doubt made easier with the dismissal of regular prop, Alistair Wade.
This Saturday's game will be a completely different affair. Much of the Camborne side will look familiar to the Albion faithful. Amongst the side that played last week were: Alex Ducker, Fraser Honey, Jago Sheppard, Sam Matavesi and Herbie. All of whom will be keen to get one-over on their former club. Also in the mix are two more Matavesi Brothers in the form of Josh and Joel.
Camborne's match from Last week yielded 3 tries for the pack and 2 for the backline. Of the 6 scored against them 5 were through the back line. This suggests Camborne has a solid, well drilled pack and will feed off set plays. Camborne will seek to disrupt and capitalise on Albion's mistakes.
Albion will want to play a precise and clinical game to build on last week's result. Weaknesses in the back line, particularly on the wing and perhaps set plays off the base of the scrum could be points of weakness.
Referee / cards
Player to watch: Alex Ducker - a former crowd favourite at The Brickfields.
Weather: Dry with sunny intervals. A moderate to strong breeze will blow across the pitch from the stand. Temperature should be comfortable but the wind will make it feel slightly cool.
Prediction: Albion should win, but Camborne could feature if the game becomes disjointed.
