Humphreys' Next Big Task

Now that he's had a weekend to think about it David Humphreys has to make a decision on who will take on the vital role of Head Coach ...

The man he has been working with at Ulster is Mark Anscome [pictured] a no-nonsense Kiwi who is currently  on a two year contract,  which has already seen him take Ulster to the final of the RaboDirect PRO12 and the Quarter Final of the Heineken Cup.

Ulster Rugby head coach Mark Anscombe during the Heineken Cup, Pool Five at Welford Road, Leicester.  Gloucs are clear that as DoR  Humphreys will be the man upstairs in charge of strategy and planning so the role of Head Coach will     have the biggest impact in terms of team selection and results.

It's the same set up as the one that has brought success to Ulster where Humpreys has been involved both on and off the pitch for more than 20 years.
