The influential Matt Kvesic is the biggest injury doubt as the Glaws coaches look to learn the lessons of the Scarlets defeat ahead of the big season opener at Saints ...

In many ways the 29-24 may prove to have been a major benefit. Scarlets showed that we need to step up the physicality in defence and do a but more on the fringes.

Saints are just the side to expose those frailities and if Kvesic doesn't recover from his foot injury he will be a big miss. Jacob Rowan is the man likely to take his shirt.
