Doin't like it when people like Ben Kay start fancying our chances this season. We have signed Banahan and Cipriani, which has made our intentions clear, but there are some real quality sides in the Premiership and one arrives at Kingsholm this week.

Saints were the surprise package last season - nobody expected them to do so badly. In fact, 12 months ago quite a few thought they would win the league.

So this week we all start equal from Chiefs to the daftly named Bears we all have a chance.

We have warmed up well with wins against Ulster and the Dragons.  But Saints have also strengthened their squad.

Stand off Dan Biggar, flanker James Haskell and prop Ben Franks all make their Saints debuts  and hooker  James Fish arrives after scoring six tries in three preseason matches.
 
But this Gloucester side looks well balanced, full of quality and deperate to get off to a good start at home. It kicks off at 2.00 and should be a cracker.
