Warrington now sit 14th

Perhaps we’re clutching at straws a little bit – but the Celtic Crusaders are off the bottom of the Super League! John Dixon's men are not in action over the St.David's Day weekend, but are no longer bottom of the pile after Warrington Wolves suffered a 48-22 defeat at the hands of the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats. The Cheshire club now go below the Crusaders on points difference.

Matthew Blaymire ran over three tries as Wakefield comfortably swept aside the Wolves to secure their third Super League win of the season.

The Wildcats, who have six points from four league outings, cruised to a 26-point win at Belle Vue and scored seven tries in the process.

The result sees Warrington drop to 14^th in the Super League table. The Wolves now have a points difference of -58, considerably worse than the Crusaders' -42 record.

There were a couple of surprise results in Friday's other games. Hull KR stunned St Helens with a 20-19 away win at The Ground, whilst the Huddersfield Giants secured their first win at Bradford for 40 years with a 16-12 victory. Elsewhere Hull, narrow winners at the Brewery Field last weekend, beat Catalan Dragons 28-12.

The Crusaders will storm up to the dizzy heights of 12^th place on Saturday evening in the unlikely event of Harlequins RL claiming a 21-point win over Wigan.

Hello there. Have not been down to see the Crusaders yet this season but I really hope they start to get results soon. I enjoy my RL and will be down in the next few weeks. Bit busy at present.

We'll all be making new friends as the season unfolds, it's been a long time coming but top flight RL has finally arrived in South Wales.

Nice article, had not noticed we'd managed to get up the dizzy heights of thirteenth position. Hopefully we'll be able to climb the table on merit this season but three defeats isn't inspiring too much confidence at the moment.
