It's a Welsh derby in the first league game of the season!

After losing out in the qualifying stages of the Northern Rail Cup despite two wins on their travel, the South Wales Scorpions now turn their attention to an eagerly awaited clash against the North Wales Crusaders at the Gnoll on Easter Monday 1st April - kick off is at 3pm.

This match will undoubtedly attract one of the best crowds of the season with a large following expected to make the trip down through mid Wales to Neath. The game is being televised live in the UK on Premier Sports and across the globe by Setanta Sports.

It is an actual double header of Rugby League when not only can fans see South Wales Scorpions play North Wales Crusaders, but this will be followed by the South Wales challenge match between Cardiff Met University and Swansea University (kick-off 5.15pm).

Last year it was a close call as to who had the most fans in the ground - this year let's make sure it is the Scorpions!
