Two weeks to kick off!

The big kick off is on Sunday March 2nd at Maesteg. The South Wales Scorpions will face promotion favourites Oldham Roughyeds at 3pm in their first game at their new home. The club, the players and the supporters group are calling on everybody to turn up and make the day a special start to the season and encourage as many people as possible to watch Rugby League in South Wales. 

The season ticket offers can be found on the official site and represent excellent value at £70. 

It is a new beginning and a fresh start for the club and the game in the area, let's all get behind the team - "Come on the Scorpions!"

I am really glad that the Club has survived. The pre season problems off the field and the lack of preparation suggests that we have a mountain to climb but I will be there.

The players look keen, we have an exceptionally eloquent captain and hopefully can hit the ground running!
