Onwards and upwards

South Wales Scorpions will look to get that elusive first win of the season when they travel to York on Friday for an evening kick off at 8pm. The game has been re-arranged due to York's Challenge Cup commitments and the venue is now listed as "York" in their fixture list (it did previously say Bootham Crescent). Hopefully the Scorpions will know where to go on the day. The South Wales outfit are rooted to the foot of the league table with six consecutive defeats and despite a spirited first half against the North Wales Crusaders they were well beaten last Sunday at Cardiff Arms Park.

The game now appears to be being played at Post Office Road, Featherstone.
