There are three changes in the Pirates' starting line-up from the one that ran out against Worcester Warriors last Saturday. Firstly, fully fit again flanker John Stevens will be making his 150^th appearance for the team, whilst in Josh King’s absence due to injury, Milo Hallam returns to the starting line-up and will pack down alongside Matt Cannon in the second row. The one other change sees Harry Yates named to partner Chester Ribbons in the centre.

A disappointing result on the road at Bedford.
Although Bedford are a good side our inability to convert opportunities into points was our downfall.
We had numerous entries into the Bedford 22 but with a misfiring line out and a few individual handling errors we failed repeatedly to get over the line.
Our execution and conversion rate will be a big work on this week ahead of a crucial home game against Chinnor as we try to get ourselves back into a play-off place.

Agree Pirate 15. We seemed to get into the Bedford 22 area and come away with very, very little. When Bedford entered our territory they came away with points. Bedford even conceded more penalties than the Pirates plus receive 2 yellow cards against them. Hopefully a turn around next week can assist with a top 6.

Rest assured, this Blues supporter will be cheering Pirates all the way against Chinnor as one of our rivals for a top four finish. You came up against one of Blues best defensive efforts this season on Saturday. It was a really good game to watch for the neutral. Thanks for making it entertaining.
