I'm guessing Chester is injured again, tough luck - he looked excellent in the game at Rotherham.
Fabulous autumn day here in Penzance - get down the Mennaye, no excuses!
Pirates 19 Richmond 33
A hugely disappointing display from the pirates especially after leading 19-7 after 20 minutes.
Numerous individual and team errors led to us gifting Richmond possession and territory.
Credit to Richmond who defended very well and took their opportunities to take a deserved win.
A big wake up call for the pirates after their promising start to the season.
On Radio Cornwall the commentator said that Richmond looked the professional team and we looked like the part timers. I think that summed up things pretty accurately. Our attacking ideas were very limited indeed.
Didn't see that coming, but Richmond deserved the win - their defence was rock solid and we couldn't get our attacking game going at all. Hopefully there'll be a big bounce back next week.
