Coventry Rugby are pleased to announce two more signings for this season’s squad with former Northampton Academy and Cambridge University scrum half Ross Kevan and Worcester Academy full-back Joe Nellany now at Coventry.
Ross Kevan, aged 21 and born in Northampton is a scrum half with extensive experience playing both for the Northampton Academy and Bedford Blues Academy. Ross has also had a spell for Old Northamptonians, and appeared in the Cambridge University side that played against the Coventry Nighthawks side last season. Now settled in a job Ross wishes to get back to regular rugby. He feels Coventry Rugby is the place to be, and hopes to develop his game here at the Butts Park Arena.
Joe Nellany, aged 19 a member of the Worcester Academy, has signed for Coventry Rugby on a DR basis, thus continuing a relationship between Coventry Rugby and the Worcester Warriors Premiership side. Joe, who usually plays as fullback or centre was born in Wolverhampton, and recently attended Warwick School, where he was rugby captain. Although accepted at University Joe is putting his academic career on hold for the moment to see how his rugby career develops.
Lee Chapman the former Nuneaton fly half who signed for Coventry Rugby in the summer, and who recently turned out for the Coventry Nighthawks side against Stourbridge has gone to Birmingham Solihull on a loan basis to get some game time.
Neil Tatlow prop forward has now signed for Broad Street .
