VICKERY’S RAGING BULL STAMPEDES TO THE RESCUE

Arriving late into the UK yesterday Italian team Rugby Parma FC were distraught to find their luggage containing their playing kit not on board!
Facing Leeds Carnegie today in the Amlin Challenge Cup match, Parma could have found themselves facing a hefty fine if not able to play in their white strip.

Following phone calls and connections in the industry, Dilan Malalgoda from VH Sports Distribution contacted Phil Vickery’s Raging Bull Sportswear clothing firm with a plea for help. Managing Director Carl Richards arrived at his Raging Bull factory in Bolton at 8.30am and with his team produced 25 full sets of rugby shirts, shorts and socks all with correct names and numbers in white. Following a then more than speedy dash from Bolton to Headingley stadium, the kits arrived at the grounds at 1.45pm ahead of the 3.00pm KO.!

A Parma spokesperson said: ”Grazie! Raging Bull saved the day. The kit looked and felt great! We are so thankful to Phil and his company for saving the day!”

Raging Bull were given authentic Italian parmesan cheese as a heartfelt thank you from the Italians.
