Sports System to help run your club. Rob told us.... We know first-hand how much time it takes to run a sports club. It takes a lot of time & effort from people who give their time for free. We wanted to create a system where the organisation of a club was dramatically improved and the time it takes to communicate was reduced & spread more evenly across the club. CHQ was born to do just this.

Through CHQ Sports each club from any sport can have a complete member management system that provides the following:

  • Full member management including subs payments
  • Team selection
  • CRB and medical information
  • Coach training
  • Training materials for each age group
  • Away game maps, timing and details
  • Communication to players in both e-mail and SMS formats

There are a number of additional applications available now and a few more in the pipeline.

Through the revenue model, CHQ is also able to offer money back to the clubs that use the system - so not only is it free - you also get money back!

What started off as a web based product to increase the efficiency and dramatically reduce the administrative burden for sports clubs has become a multi-dimensional product that has the scope to have a huge impact in any environment that has a membership base and events to organise

Beaconsfield Rugby Club was the first beneficiary. Within one season the whole club was utilising the CHQ system. Organisationally the club became streamlined and the administrative workload of each team/age group manager has reduced to about 30% of where it was 2 seasons ago.A number of rugby and cricket clubs now use the CHQ product. Due to most sports clubs being cash poor it has proved difficult to make a business model purely based on sports work. Fortunately, early in the development of the product CHQ saw a need for a similar system to manage the massive amount of administration required to organise sports and extra curricular activities in schools. In 2008, CHQ Schools was born.

The main focus of the product is membership/pupil management and fixture/event organisation. Wherever there is a membership/pupil base and fixtures/events to organise, the CHQ product is the perfect solution to manage the workload – while at the same time increasing efficiency and reducing the burden on un-paid volunteers and over stretched teachers.

The Product

The CHQ system is a web based product that sits behind very tight security.

Administrators and Members get access to the system through their own unique username and password. Administration rights vary dependent on required usage – and it’s the main club/school administrator (with has super-user access) who decides who has access to what areas of the system.

Members manage their own details and administrators then manage all the members for whom they are responsible for.

The system is focused on members declaring their own availability for fixtures/events. Administrators then use this data to arrange fixtures and events. All communication is then done via either e-mail or text – or both!

 Additional Features

There are more features beyond the core functionality of fixture/event creation and management. These include: Training information and teaching skills across 12 sports

·         Document repository

·         Centralised reporting of all injuries and accidents

·         Ability to take payments for membership and activities

·         Full calendar management which can also be downloaded to PDA’s

·         Member/Player assessments

·         Results reporting and ability to link to core websites

·         Booking of facilities and taking payments

·         Alumni management

·         Full use of the system via mobile

More details of all of these are available from
