The Official RFU iPhone app, sponsored by O2, is the best way to stay in touch with English Rugby, from grassroots to the England Team.
In addition the live news feed, exclusive videos and audio interviews, all updated in real-time from rfu.com, mean supporters will never be out of touch with what’s happening in the England camp and in the game around the country. The next phase of the app will include full access to the fixtures and results service for the whole game meaning grassroots players and club supporters can also keep up to date on the fortunes of clubs from Bishop Auckland to Bude and Shrewsbury to Scarborough. RFU Head of Digital Media Nick Shaw said: “In the past few months we have really put some effort into getting the RFU and England Rugby out in to the social media space. We now have an active Facebook site of over 155,000 followers, a Twitter feed with 1200 followers and a dedicated YouTube channel. An interactive iPhone app was the next obvious step and we, along with the app's developers 'the OTHER media' have made sure it has absolutely everything in it so rugby supporters up and down the country can now download, for free, everything they need to know about the game. And we have a clear development plan for the app which will keep it fresh and current over the next few months and years.” The Official RFU iPhone app, sponsored by O2, is available for download now on iTunes. Go to the App Store home page and just search for Official Rugby Football Union App or click here. Network charges and terms apply.
