The RFU Announced Sophie Goldschmidt as Chief Commercial Officer

Goldschmidt will join the RFU by mid July from the National Basketball Association (NBA) where she is Senior Vice President for Europe, Middle East and Africa Operations.

England XV Team to face Barbarians 

Five newcomers will pull on a senior England shirt for the first time against the Barbarians

Youth was the order of the day for England, but after starting the match strongly, the Barbarians conjured a superb last-minute try to condemn England to defeat in a non-cap international at Twickenham.

England Counties Under 20 Squad Announced

England Counties Under 20s suffered defeat in their inaugural game at the hands of Scotland’s Junior World Cup Under 20 side,

The England Counties Squad for 3 Match Tour of Spain in June  The squad contains 17 players who will be on tour with the Counties XV for the first time; players from 12 of the 14 Counties involved in the Bill Beaumont Cup are represented; and 22 different clubs are in the squad.

The England Women’s Elite Playing squad (EPS) for the 2011/2012

The EPS, which has been selected through the traditional England Trial process, including the RFUW Divisional Programme and the new England Sevens Open Trials, includes two new players in the XVs squad and a squad of nine sevens players. A number of other EPS athletes will also support the Sevens Programme.

The England Women’s Under 20s squad for the 2011/2012  The squad sees 16 players who were involved in this season’s 100 percent winning campaign continue with the Under 20s for a further term.
