Right, the squad is there, the final pre-season friendly is on Saturday and the squad is (hopefully) just about match fit. Let’s get on with it. With the bitter taste of last season’s frustration still there for most Gloucester fans, all they want to do is get the new campaign under way and watch a team which can be more consistent, most entertaining and more successful than in 2008-09.

Coach Bryan Redpath says that Nottingham centre Tim Molenaar, who joined the Kingsholm squad last week, is his final signing and there will be no more newcomers for now.
Glaws play Ospreys at Kingsholm in their final pre-season game on Saturday, and the Guinness premiership campaign starts the following weekend when Bath come calling.
Redpath told the Citizen: "When you get this close to the season you want to bed everything down.
"I'm not looking to bring any more in. We need to get everyone up to speed for the start of the Premiership."
His squad has been trimmed since he replaced Dean Ryan as coach, and while details are not available, it is a good guess that the Glaws wage bill is a lot lower now than it was a year ago.
There may not have been any stellar signings like there have been in the past, and there’s no doubt that players like Iain Balshaw, Olly Barklay, Ryan Lamb and Anthony Allen will be missed, some a lot more than others.
But newcomers like Tom Voyce, Nicky Robinon and Eliota Fuimaono-Sapolu will strengthen the squad, and Redpath is hoping that the promise of some of the younger players bears fruit.
If he can get the squad to operate as that, rather than as a bunch of individuals, Gloucester can do better than they did last season.
