This weekend, Albion make their way to Richmond to take on former Champ side, London Scottish.

After a strong opening match against newly promoted Bury St Edmunds, The Exiles narrowly lost out to Tonbridge Juddians before folding against Leeds Tykes. This has left The Exiles in 8th, but only one point ahead of all the sides below them.

Albion last met The Exiles in February 2015 at Brickfields where they drew 12-12. One of the few high points during an otherwise disastrous season for Albion.

The Exiles have a good try-scoring record averaging about 5.5 per game (Albion are on 7), fairly balanced  between the forwards and back. Of the 17 tries scored this season 9 of the came in their first match, which may skew the analysis a bit. Defensively, it is a different story, conceding 19 tries at an average of 6.3 per game (Albion 2.3) with the back line letting through 80%.

Whilst a concern would be that London Scottish blow a bit hot and cold this season, it does appear that they have a capable pack which could hold up Albion's (so far) forward dominated play. Opportunities should present themselves in open play, where gaps will appear in the backline. Opportunities should appear for Albion's backs, particularly given the forecast conditions. is also evident that the Exiles can pick themselves up as the game progresses, whereas have Albion fallen away for the final quarter. Albion need to reduce the penalty count and close out the game with an 80 minute performance.

Player to watch - Alex Earnshaw. The Centre came on for the second half against Bury St Edmunds and promptly scored 4 tries. No tries since, but the threat will be there. 

Referee- Mr Ounsley has issued 3 yellow cards in 2 games. Albion need to improve their discipline or we could see some enforced bench time. Meanwhile, The Exiles will maintain their cardless record - the only team not to have received a referee's wrath.

Weather: Dry with sunny intervals. A light air will give rise to ripples on calm seas while the temperature rising to 25°C lies at the higher end of the 'comfortable' range.

Prediction: A win for Albion, but a strong game from the Exiles could push it close.

Other games of note: 

Sale FC (2nd) v Tonbridge Juddians (3rd} - Three will become 2 (or maybe 1) with the other two teams with a perfect record go head to head. Sale have had the more impressive result, but the TJs have faced arguably, at the start of the season, the more fancied sides of Scottish & Cambridge,
 
Bishops Stortford (4th) v Birmingham Moseley (5th} - And the next two places face off with the prize of staying in touch with the leader(s).

Rams (13th) v Rosslyn Park (9th} - . with 4 of the bottom teams (6 on 6 points) involved in games against each other, the lower end of the table should separate out a little. Rams are one of 3 teams still looking for a winwhile Park let Camborne to recover from a poor opening half hour to dominate the rest of the game.
