England’s Delon Armitage is among the leaders in the race for this year’s RBS 6 Nations Player of the Championship.

 

This year’s award is the closest for years, with nearly 10,000 votes already cast.

 

And with the race sure to hot up over the weekend, Armitage is just three per cent off current leader Brian O’Driscoll, with France’s Sergio Parisse also making the front running.
