Some of my thoughts....

I thought England was robbed. 3 occasions where the ABs may have earned a yellow card. Yarde's was well merited though.

Screwing the scrum: to me it looked like the ABs were wrongly penalised a couple of times. And an arbitrary penalty for squint put in. As if all the rest, both sides, were straight

Kicking the ball: far too often by both sides.

The tension of the game was mostly down to the closeness of the score.

There were a couple of big holes in the AB defence which the Roses exploited. There is little coordination between Cruden and Nonu. Not sure we will see both of them run out for the next test.

The English midfield were pretty switched on.

The breakout from their own goal line was very good - nearly scored just after narrowly avoiding the opposite.

Mr Paul still writing 5 year old stories, and then not very accurately. Rebels were considerably better with Cips than without. Though it is true that he was still acting the D!@#head at that time.

3 possible yellows for NZ luddite, that's one more than I have seen any Englishman claim. When was the third? We claim Nonu's early pull back on Haskell and Barrett not releasing May on the line. Agree Yarde's was merited, but a bit gaulling after letting the NZ offences go.

How did you see the 2 knock ons he gave against May and Burns when fielding the ball deep, both of which clearly travelled backwards.

Pretty much every ref tends to guess at what's going on in the scrum, the side he believes to be 'superior' in that department tends to get the rub. The one squint that he penalised was particularly ridiculous, practically put the ball at the No8's feet.

NZ got around England defence on s couple of occasions, better hands would have seen them score earlier.
