Dylan Hartley's indiscipline has once again cost him and this time it's his World Cup place which has been taken from him ..
He has been banned for four weeks for headbutting Sarries' Jamie George and that is the final straw for Stuart Lancaster.
The England coach has said: ""I have spoken to Dylan. He knows he has let himself and everyone down.
"It also goes without saying that we need all our players to be able to control their discipline and make good decisions under pressure.
"The World Cup will clearly require this, and Dylan has not clearly displayed this in this latest incident. "This is an area that he still needs to address."
Hartley told the BBC that he was devastated with what has happened and the position he has put himself and the England team in.
Ironically, George will now take the place of the Saints hooker in the England training squad.
In 2013 Hartley's ban for verbal abuse of a match official cost him his place in the British and Irish Lions tour of Australia
