England 'A' squad having watched the seniors put the Wallabies to the sword and not wanting to be outdone, showed they can also score tries - a six pack at that! Michael Horak scored four tries in a 36

England A v USA  Match Review - Final Score 36-10 - with an outstanding performance by Michael Horak.

Horak - The 26 year old  London Irish full-back scored four tries a resounding win for England A over the US Eagles in the Churchill Cup. Horak commented, "It's great to score four tries and generally I was pretty pleased with my own performance.

Coach Jim Mallinder said, He had a very good game and hit the line well."  Jim Mallinder had made 13 changes to the side that started the 43-7 victory over Canada and he added: “I am always pleased to win and to score six tries. But there is a slight disappointment in that we feel we could have done better.

"We tried to play a little too much rugby instead of getting the basics right and doing the hard stuff properly. But it is a new side and it’s the first time these 15 have played together; good sides take time to gel.”

The other try-scorers for the England 'A' were, Iain Balshaw and Peter Anglesea. Olly Barker kicked three conversions.
