It is all kicking off! We have John Eales throwing his pennyworth in on England's 'Rolling Maul' claiming that it is illegal and Straeuli running to the referee!

Well now the heat is starting to rise.

It is all kicking off! We have John Eales throwing his pennyworth in on England's 'Rolling Maul' claiming that it is illegal and jumping on the bandwagon is both Straeuli and Jones. Straeuli who intends to run to the referee and discuss this among other things with him quote:- "I will be raising a lot of issues with the referee, but I'm not going into details," he said. Well really, I ask you!

It all smacks of fear and in fact, England believe that the allegations from the former Wallabies skipper that they often execute the rolling maul illegally shows that they have the Australians running scared.

On hearing of the claims, made here on Australian television last night by Eales, veteran flanker Neil Back said: "They are comments born of fear".

Well as I said it is all heating up quite nicely...

England Fan in Perth(Rick) sent us this informal Weather Report. Has been pretty temperamental of late, but a few showers tomorrow predicted and then fine for Saturday (22 I think).

South Africa will no doubt capitalise on the huge number of supporters they have in Perth one of the largest expatriate communities of South Africans in the world! They also have played at the Subiaco Oval Stadium twice whereas England have only played once.

For England and South Africa this match is crucial for the Pool C standings as the runner up of Pool C, face the winners of Pool D and that I would predict will be the New Zealand 'All Blacks'. If England do win against South Africa, we could face our old foe Wales and what better than St. George taking on the Dragon yet again!
