England coach Clive Woodward has announced three late changes to his squad, one of them in the starting XV, for Sunday's World Cup pool C game against Uruguay. Prop Trevor Woodman has a back strain and has been replaced in the starting team by the experienced Jason Leonard.

Jason Robinson comes on to the bench in place of winger Ben Cohen, who has a minor calf strain, while lock Ben Kay replaces flanker Neil Back, who has bruised ribs.

Clive Woodward England Head Coach has made 11 changes to face Uruguay on Sunday. Only Joe Worsley, Stuart Abbott, Lawrence Dallaglio and Iain Balshaw remain from the team which beat Samoa last week. Phil Vickery captains England for the second time.

Let us hope that England settle down this Sunday and produce a much better performance than last and that we have no further off the field incidents, which frankly have marred not just England but the World Cup!

Uruguay coach Diego Ormaechea has made six changes to his line-up for Sunday's Pool C finale against England at Suncorp Stadium.

Uruguay now established in the worlds top 20 as the second best South American side behind Argentina, Uruguay emerged with credit from the 1999 Rugby World Cup. Uruguay qualified for the 2003 tournament as runners-up in an Americas group including Argentina, the USA and Chile, booking their ticket to Australia with a 34-21 win against Chile in Montevideo. A tough pool draw this year has seen 1 defeat against South Africa and 1 win against Georgia. A dozen Uruguayans play professionally in Europe. The side will be led by experienced centre/fly-half Diego Aguirre, one of three brothers who have played for the side in recent years.
