England's RWC Captain Martin Johnson sets out on his 2006 Rugby Camps. The programme is now extended with a total of 8 regional camps & continues to cater, for 11-16 year old boys & girls Places are selling fast and we would like to get as many local players involved in the programme as possible

 

The launch of the second annual Martin Johnson Rugby Camps programme starts here.... After the fantastic response in 2005 with venues being heavily oversubscribed, the 2006 programme has expanded and now includes 8 venues located in all corners of the country. As well as three venues used in 2005, (Warwick, Newbury and Clifton in Bristol) the camps will now be staged at Doncaster RFC, Broughton Park in Manchester, Richmond RFC, Westcombe Park in Kent and Plymouth Albion RFC. The dates for the 2006 programme are as follows

 

• 26-28th July -                Warwick University

• 2-4th Aug –                    Clifton RFC, Bristol

• 7-9^th Aug -                      Plymouth Albion RFC, Plymouth

• 9th-11th Aug –              Newbury RFC, Berkshire   

• 14th-16^th Aug -             Westcombe Park - Kent

• 16-18^th Aug -                 Richmond/London Scottish

• 21-23^rd Aug –                Doncaster RFC, Yorkshire    

• 23-25^th Aug -                 Broughton Park, Manchester      

Martin Johnson was extremely happy with the popularity and feedback of the 2005 programme and hopes that all those participants got as much out of the three day camps as he did. Martin will be highly involved at each camp alongside the RFU’s most respected coaches. Participants need to be aged between 11 and 16 years old and both boys and girls can join.
