The Press Gang enjoyed a day of unprecedented success last weekend when a huge crowd flocked to the Camborne Rec. With interest in the Pirates flourishing more and more fans wanting to see their heroes in action home and away, the new-look Press Gang did brisk business.

Membership - With numbers soaring this still stands at £5 (Individual) or £10 (Family) per year. If you are feeling flush you can purchase Life Membership for £100. You can join by downloading the form from this site or in person at our match day stall in the Camborne beer tent. 

Press Gang at Polson Bridge - Sept 1st - There will be two coaches running to this match. One will travel from Penzance via Camborne and Zelah, whilst the other will head from Penzance via Truro, St Austell and St Blazey. The fare is £10 per person. Arrival time at Polson is scheduled for 2pm with a 6.30pm departure. Seats are selling fast so book now to avoid disappointment.

Match Tickets - CAB`s v Pirates - The Press Gang`s Chairman, Rod Lyon, has been in communication with CAB`s Chief Exec, Adrian Cameron, on this issue. Mr Cameron has informed us that the capacity at Polson Bridge for this match will be 4,000. The Pirates will receive an allocation of 1,000 tickets for the match with Season ticket holders and Friends of the Pirates members receiving priority booking status. The Press Gang will this week investigate the possibility of securing extra tickets for members travelling on their coaches. Further details will be announced as soon as we have them.

Coach Travel - Camborne Rec - The Press Gang will be running coaches to home matches this season (subject to demand). Bookings are already being taken for the service from Penzance to Camborne on Sept. 9th for the match against Northampton Saints. Fare £3. It is hoped to run further buses to cater for supporters in the Helston/Falmouth catchment area and also for fans in Newquay. The transport and drivers have been reserved - now we need passengers!
