Whatever the result this team has been incredible all season, the spirit and determination has been second to none. Tomorrow will be a massive test, but we can do it! COYP!!!

Agree completely welshpirate. Sp proud of this group and the coaches and backroom people. We know they'll give it 100% tomorrow and that's all we can ask.

I completely agree with the previous posts regardless of tomorrows result we should be immensely proud of what the coaches and players have achieved this season.
I hope that there is a big crowd next week for our last league match where we can all show our appreciation.

Will be attending Ealing and would love to come away with a victory and agree how the team has played this season less penalty counts as I am sure we hold the record for this.

This was always going to be a big ask to win away at Ealing. It was important that we started well and stopped them getting on the front foot and dictating the game. Unfortunately we were behind on the scoreboard after 30 minutes and they never looked back. We did well to score 4 tries and claim a bonus point.
We may be disappointed but you need to remember the size of their playing budget not to mention the strength of their squad. We have played a lot of rugby in the last few weeks whilst other clubs have had a week or two off to rest and prepare for these winner takes all games.
I hope we can keep the majority of this squad together as they will only get better.

Well done for getting the bonus point, it was always a big ask without some of our more seasoned players. COYP!

Just a step too far for the boys who, as P15 says, have had a lot of tough games in quick succession.
They showed their spirit and pride by more than holding their own in the second half when we could have faded and taken a real hiding. We've had to operate without some key players, especially recently, with John Stevens, Rory, Nico, and Callum all injured. It's been a brilliant season and I hope a big crowd turn up next weekend at The Mennaye to see the boys hopefully finish the season in style.

To complete the season with a 100% home record would be quite something.

Ealing came out of the blocks straight off from the the KO with a plan to keep the Pirates in their own half which they did. Pirates managed the converted try before the break but one felt Ealing still had more to give yet. Pirates managed to get the BP and well deserved as they never dropped off trying but Ealing were the winners all day. Pirates have a good team and will hopefully further this next season and become a contender again within 2 seasons. We could still be runners up so will be tuned in next week.

Out of interest how many were at the match yesterday and were there many Pirate's fan?

At the start of the season we all hoped the team would perform to their potential and be in the top 3/4. To be in with a shout of winning the championship with two games remaining, was probably more than I anticipated! Hoped rather than believed they could get a result at Ealing, but my only feelings of disappointment was for the team and how they felt at the final whistle. They were outplayed by Ealing but not outfought! Playing to the end and getting a bonus point, shows the pride and commitment. Listening to the interviews after, you could feel the hurt and disappointment from the coaches and players. There was talk of letting the fans down, but how can the fans be let down by a team that has and plays with the passion and pride we have seen this season?!
There have been many what if, could have and should have moments this season but we are where we are and nearly finished. My last hope for this season is that we win on Saturday and finish the season unbeaten at home, a first for us, and an incredible achievement for this fine group of young men. I am proud of the effort of our team this season, proud to call myself a pirates fan, and hope the squad feel as equally proud of their performances, efforts and achievements. One more game boys, let’s finish on that high!!!
