Planning to be present for this match and this will be a tough one for the Pirates as they usually are at Bedford. Discipline high priority.
Bedford are expecting a Bumper crowd. Nine Bars are available and hospitality sold out. Weather forecast is dry and sunny. Good luck to the Pirates it is going to be a tough game especially with the famous slope to contend with.

A really tough ask and a W would be great. Bedford and Pirates are always entertaining and are usually tight games. Keep on the right side of 'sir' and we can do this. safe journey both ways lads and just believe.

A very disappointing performance as we were given a rugby lesson by a rampant Bedford side.
It was embarrassing how they opened up our defence with ease and we offered very little in attack.

Our average is now 2,992 but is inflated by 5,000 for Boxing Day.
I do agree there was a 15 ish min period where Pirates were in our 22m, did not really look like scoring (but for being held up) and went backwards in the most part. Normally you should be inventiveness in the backs.
However, don’t be too harsh on your team, it was just one of those days, where we were pretty much unstoppable and any club in the division would have struggled against us.

Pirates had a lot of possession in the second half but could not penetrate the Blues defence and passed the ball from side to side and camp down inside the Blues 22. All credit to the Blues, they appeared to have a couple of extra wingers as once they had the ball it was passed and moving forward from defence to attack very swiftly. Next week Pirates will again have another challenge and no doubt the Pirate team will have a different strategy to deal with Jersey. A win would be a booster for the team and club so looking forward to the game.
