This will be a big challenge for our young squad but I'm sure they will give their all and any win would be a great result against Doncaster who are currently 2nd in the league.
A warm welcome to 2nd row Charlie Rice who's on loan from Bristol Bears.
A deserved win for Donny I feel. We were far too slow out the blocks. No excuses but Donny qame management was far better than ours and we fell foul of sir too many times. I did however think that Donny deliberately slowed the game down once they realised 'sir' was being lenient!! Never mind lads we grow with every game, no complaints at the effort put in by any of the boys.
The pirates never really recovered from a disastrous start when we conceded 2 tries inside the opening 10 minutes.
A number of unforced errors, discipline and poor defence around the breakdown didn't help our cause.
Fair play to Doncaster who made their physical size count coupled with good game management to run out worthy winners.
A big learning curve for our young players to understand that we need to be on top of our game from the first to the last minute.
