Changes in the Pirates starting XV from the one that ran out against Cambridge include wing Matt McNab moving into the centre in place of the injured Ioan Evans, and Bruce Houston and Alex Schwarz named as the halfback pairing.

For wing Robin Wedlake, who scored two tries as a replacement against Cambridge, this game will mark his 100^th appearance for the Pirates.

In the forwards, Will Britton partners Steele Barker in the second row, with Hugh Bokenham stepping back to his more familiar role at Number 8.

This will be a tough game under lights after a long journey from Cornwall.
Hopefully our recent good form on the road will give the boys confidence to come away with the victory and keep us in the hunt for a second place finish.

Sounds a strong team turnout and will be required for this clash. Unfortunately will no longer be able to attend as I have a chest infection that is constantly making myself continually cough. All been well should be in attendance at London Jocks. Will tune in to radio Dreckly.

Terrific result on the road in what sounded like very trying conditions at a wet and windy Nottingham.
After going ahead with an unconverted try, the pirates didn't panic after Nottingham scored a converted try to take the lead. The pirates hit back with a converted try to lead at the break 12-7.
A further 2 tries without reply in a 2nd half dominated by the pirates secured a bonus point win.
Well done to all the players and coaches for a great result that keeps us in the fight for a 2nd place finish.
Let's pack out the mennaye for next week's visit of Coventry.

Excellent performance from the squad. It was very wet and there was bit of a cross-field breeze which made life difficult for both teams. We were rock solid in the line out, disrupted a few of theirs and dominated at scrum time. Defence was awesome against a very dangerous Nottingham back division who had some very fast and skilful runners. Nottingham had quite lot of possession but couldn't break us.
Long over night journey back for the boys, but they'll be buzzing after that. What a team!

Great result for the Pirates tonight and a great result for Cov tonight. Cov top of the league for probably one night only, but next week Pirates v Cov for maybe second place. Just a few points between the top three but all denied progression.
