Twelvetrees

Billy Twelvetrees is back as we look for three wins out of three and a top four play offspot. It will be a big ask with bogey boys Sale Sharks first up on Friday night [ESPN kick off 7.45].

Billy has recvovered from the concussion which kept him out of the stuttering show against Biarritz,. He could well come straight back against Sharks who  have managed to beat us on their home soil for the past 12 years.

That series bagan at Heywood Road and continued at Edgeley Park. Let's hope our first visit to the Salford City stadium gives us better luck.

Sharks are fighting for their lives at the bottom and, of course, there's still the sore wound of nthe Diamond/Redpath saga to add  a bit of tension to the proceedings. So, it looks like another full on encounter.

Jim Hamilton will be missing and there must be fears that his ankle injury will mean that he has played his last game for the club. Recovery time is estimated at three weeks so he more than anyone will be hoping for play-off games so he can go out in style.
