It had to happen. We announce a pre-season friendly against Munster and then get them in the Heineken along with Perpignan and Edinburgh ....
There's no doubt that Paul O'Connell's Munster will be the ones to beat. Like us Perpignan have moved up a notch - although a trip to the Aime Giral is always daunting - while Edinburgh didn't fare well last season including a 45-0 home defeat by Sarries.

We owe Munster one after that game ten years ago when they needed a big win to go through and got the tries and the points they needed.

Always brilliant when the Irish lads come across the water. Great atmosphere in the town and I bet the local publicans are rubbing their hands.

Ned3 i will never forget the match in kingsholm in jan 04 the place was heaving for the late kick off...there was munster guys climbing in over the walls. i think the redevelopment (again similiar to Thomond) has taking the edge old school ground look off it.
We were in the new stand in 08 and i miss the old clubhouse/bar in that corner! Anyway roll on the fixtures!!

Not so easy to get a drink in the ground these days so lots of us have a few in town and then make our way up. The Inn is opposite the ground but can get packed.
There is no problem getting a drink in the ground unless you are some sort of beer snob which I would guess you are.
Looks like the French have pulled out of hosting the HC and Amlin finals and that these could now be played in Cardiff.
