Reports that a disgruntled Martyn Thomas was looking for pastures new appear unfounded. The Welshman who played only 10 games last season has signed another one year contract.

That's all the more remarkable as Olly Morgan is set to come back after his long term injury problems, but the 26 Welshman obviously thinks he can compete for the full back shirt.

Radio Gloucestershire is reporting Nigel Davies as saying: ""I spoke to Martyn at the end of the season and he felt a little frustrated as he felt there's more in him to give.

"We're mindful of our full-back cover, as we're not quite sure what will happen  with Olly Morgan.Martin will fill a role and hopefully he will kick on and show us what he's capable of."
